- A bright vibrant, colour scheme, so magazine has a young feel and is exciting to my demographic of 15-25 year olds.
- A catchy but short title, that creates a fun, fresh vibe, immediately revealing that the magazine is current and aimed at younger people.
- A cover star that seems current and relevant, to allow the audience to keep up to date with current trends, as well as current music.
- A puff that boosts the status of the magazine, as I believe that there are quite a few competitor magazines with a similar style and genre.
- Multiple pictures on the contents page to stimulate the reader and allow them to visualise the articles and connect with the artists.
- Very simplistic yet bold page numbers to ensure that the magazine is user friendly, so that the reader can navigate throughout it.
- A quirky, yet legible font that will allow the reader to read it with ease, while still adding personality to the magazine.
- A large, clear image on the double page spread to make it aesthetically pleasing, allowing the reader to connect with the artist.
- Basic language that will be easy for the user to read as they are young and maybe slightly less educated than older readers

Initial Thoughts and Decisions
After evaluating three magazines, I have discovered what words best when creating a magazine to appeal to a young, current demographic. Therefore, when creating my magazine, I will include the following things:
